PickItUp is a retrieval and fishing grab designed to recover foreign objects from boreholes. It operates using a simple winch, securely grips compact objects, and can be opened and closed directly via the rope.

How Does the PickItUp Retrieval Grab Work?
The PickItUp was developed to reliably recover foreign objects from boreholes. No complex additional equipment is required: the retrieval grab is operated using a simple winch and controlled entirely via the hoisting rope.
USing the PickItUp with a Simple Winch
- Lower the PickItUp into the borehole in the open position.
- Slack off the rope until approximately 10 cm of slack is created.
- When the rope is then pulled tight, the retrieval grab closes.
- Lift the closed PickItUp, together with the recovered foreign object, out of the borehole.
- Place the tips of the grab shells on the ground and slack off the rope by approximately 10 cm again.
- Pull the rope tight again. This causes the PickItUp to open.
High grip security
The design provides a very high level of grip security when handling compact foreign objects.
Easy to release
If the PickItUp becomes wedged in the borehole, briefly slackening the rope is enough to release it.
Easy operation
Opening and closing are controlled by the movement of the rope. A simple winch is sufficient.
Maintenance-free
The PickItUp requires no regular maintenance.
Suitable for different borehole diameters
Four sizes cover pipe diameters from 3″ to 20″.

The PickItUp is designed for reliable use in boreholes. Its grab shells are made of hardened stainless steel, and all components of the retrieval grab are additionally nickel-plated. This gives the PickItUp a robust construction combined with high grip security when recovering compact foreign objects.
